Thomas J. Pearson, Inc. announces the recent completion of a large room addition and kitchen remodel for a Hendricks county family seeking to update and expand their home.  The addition includes a 400 square foot addition to accommodate the family gathering and entertaining.  The design contemplated keeping some elements of the existing space such as their brick fireplace, while re-purposing some existing cabinetry into the new layout.  The homeowners sought to capitalize on the wooded country setting behind their home in their design plans.  An expansive window system provides natural light and an unimpeded view to their lovely back yard. A large island was added, along with a new range hood in a paint glaze to complement the existing cabinetry in the new space.  Modern and energy-efficient appliances enhance the usability and efficiency of the new kitchen.  The new kitchen space opens to a family living space flanked by a deck at both the south and north elevations.
